Paul Bunyan's Paddle Hunt - Paul's Paddle has been found Tuesday afternoon just in time because we're only hours away from burying the beans for Bean Hole Days! Congratulations to Dorothy Campbell, Pequot Lakes Eye Center, who found the paddle a short while ago! Good eye!
July 12th:
6:00 p.m. Burying of the Beans Ceremony
The beans, prepared from Paul Bunyan’s secret recipe behind locked doors, are buried in huge cast iron kettles and cooked over a wood fire during the night. Join us for this special ceremony!
July 13th:
9:00 – 4:00 p.m. Craft Fair and Concessions along the Paul Bunyan Trail
11:15 a.m. Coronation Ceremony – Who will be this year's Queen or King Bean?
11:30 a.m. Community Photo - All attendees wearing Bean Hole T-shirts will gather for a
group photo.
Raising of the Beans
11:45 a.m. Drawing of winners for the Stars & Stripes / Bean Hole Days Raffle -
tickets will be sold until 11 a.m. Recieve a free Blinkie Button with a raffle ticket
purchase. Must be 18 years of age to purchase.
12:00 p.m. Serving of the Beans- Our incredibly friendly volunteers serve a free and delicious bowl of beans, bun, and beverage to thousands of attendees.
Buy your souvenir Bean Hole Days Bowl and go to the head of the serving line! Express Serving Line for individuals with an orange or blue souvenir bowl! per Bowl
